About the Bexley Eco  Festival

The Bexley Eco Festival started back in 2019, when local community groups, the London Borough of Bexley and Cory got together to identify ways to promote awareness amongst local residents about events happening in the community, with a particular focus on protecting the environment and promoting wellbeing.

The idea of creating a free family-friendly event grew and the first Eco Festival took place at Lesnes Abbey in 2019 with approximately 500 people attending.

The event continued even during Covid, when it was hosted online with virtual stall holders and facilitators. In 2022, we were pleased to host the second face-to-face event at the Nest in Thamesmead.

In 2024, we hosted our biggest ever event and welcomed over 2,500 people to Lesnes Abbey. We are delighted to confirm that the next event will take place in 2026 at the same location. If you are interested in taking part, please contact CC Events on info@cceventsuk.com.

In the meantime, we will be running a wide range of events in 2025 – check back here throughout the year for more updates.

The festival is a fun interactive event that encourages attendees to help their environment; improve awareness about what is going on in their local community; and enhance their health and wellbeing.
